FIM NORTH AMERICA
The FIM North America (FIM NA), which includes two national federations — the American Motorcyclist Association and Canadian Motorcycle Association — is one of six Continental Unions (CONUs) recognized as a geographical subdivision of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM).
The FIM North America, which is held accountable to the FIM, establishes a yearly calendar of Continental Championship events, declaring champions in selected disciplines and classes.
The FIM NA’s member federations issue CONU licenses to riders participating in FIM NA events. Additionally, the FIM NA issues licenses to riders planning to participate in Continental Championship events organized by other CONUs.

CANADIAN MOTORCYCLE ASSOCIATION
The Canadian Motorcycle Association was founded in 1946 and is the national organization serving the needs of motorcyclists across Canada. It was federally incorporated as a not for profit entity in 1957 and has been a member of the Federation Internationale De Motocyclisme (FIM) since 1950.
Through its affiliated clubs and promoters, CMA sanctions events in all disciplines, and for riders from beginner level to pro. The emphasis on safety and fair play, and oversight by our trained officials has earned us well deserved respect and credibility.
We have assisted thousands of riders to achieve their goals, whether it is the simple enjoyment of local motorcycling activities, participation in Championshiips, regional and national, or at the higher level of international solo and team events.
We are proud of our CMA rider training programme, which has delivered on road riding instruction since 1993 to more than 15,000 individuals.
CMA is the go to organization when governments and others seek expert input on any question involving motorcycling in Canada and beyond.
