After a ten-year absence, the FIM’s longest-sanctioned off-road motorcycle competition returns to Portugal for the first time since 2009. Following the election on Saturday of Mr Jorge Viegas as FIM President in Andorra la Vella, the FIM Board met on Sunday morning in order to discuss new governance positions.

Mr Viegas will hereby take up the role of acting CEO until the FIM Commissions Conference in February 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland.

Mr Jacques Bolle has been nominated to the position of FIM Vice-President. Mr Robert Dingam has been named as representative of Continental Unions (CONU).
